Abraham (Abe) Colon has over 40 years of experience with both private and municipal Fire / EMS systems, spending more than half that time in upper-level managerial, supervisory and training positions.
He was previously the EMS Supervisor with the New Haven Fire Department, where he oversaw emergency medical services training and operation, and was responsible for ensuring training compliance at all times. He has also served as the Director for the 911 Communications Center where he oversaw all aspects of administrative functions, operations and training.
In addition to degrees in fire administration,fire occupational safety, and Masters of Divinity, Abe holds myriad certifications as both an instructor and a domain expert. Abe is a lecturer at various educational and private venues, and has spoken at conferences on various topics dealing with public safety, paramedicine and other emergency medical services.
Rene Cordova has been with the Fire Department for more than 40 years, and served as a trainer for over 20 years.
Rene is a certified paramedic and EMS instructor and has multiple certifications in various fire and EMS disciplines.
Rene's extensive experience conducting training courses in department, public and educational settings has earned him a reputation for teaching excellence.
